Rachel Harris is a TEDx speaker, finance speaker, and Accounting Personality of the year. Redefining what it means to be an account, Rachel founded @accountant_she and striveX, a seven figure accounting firm.
Rachel empowers business owners, celebrities, influencers, and fellow accountants with practical strategies. With over 150,000 online followers, she shares engaging financial information and education, and has featured in Forbes and The Guardian, and on Radio 5 Live and ITV’s This Morning.
She is now a sought-after speaker, focussing on accounting, financial wellbeing, strategy, and finance-related politics.
With school qualifications in Maths, and a period studying at Vale Financial Training, Rachel Harris’ interest in the financial industry has paved the way for a successful career. She started out as a finance apprentice at Cherwell District Council, before moving to Dematic Europe as an expeditor. Other jobs include being a financial assistant, outsourcing assistant, semi-senior account staff, and finance manager.

In 2020, Rachel founded @accountant_she and became Director of strive, which have grown to be seven-figure valued firms.
She is determined to challenge the stereotype of what an accountant should be, and it is this unique thought process that has made her a successful TEDx speaker, and a popular social media influencer.
Over the last two years, she has scaled her practice from a single employee with 50 clients, to a team of 12 with over 600 clients.
She has appeared on a number of television and radio shows, discussing topics such as financial wellbeing for entrepreneurs, and how the autumn budget can impact the general public.
Rachel is also very passionate about building more accessibility into businesses and the wider world as she herself is profoundly deaf.

I highly recommend Rachel as a versatile, dynamic and engaging speaker. Her reputation within the accounting profession is second to none and having worked with her most recently at Accountex London – the largest accounting and finance event in the world – I can honestly say that everyone she came into contact with was left feeling energised and impressed by her delivery and style.
More than anything I was impressed with her extensive knowledge and the magical way she engages with the audience. Rachel not only provides valuable insights and practical takeaways, she also creates an inclusive environment that encourages the audience and motivates them to make positive changes. Her passion for everything that she does is awe inspiring, her sheer and genuine enthusiasm is contagious. Simply put, I cannot think of a more exciting speaker within the accountancy profession right now.

It was a very positive experience working with Rachel and she is an excellent content creator. The videos she makes are really professional and she puts 100% into every one. I also liked how she would send us a draft beforehand and ask follow up questions to ensure we were happy with the final product. Rachel was really accommodating with the pricing and we found the campaign a great value for money.
She was very professional and easy to get in contact with throughout the experience, so we always had the support we needed. The whole process was really organised and she was upfront about the requirements so we knew what to send and when. I also found Rachel was really good at following up and she prompted us in advance if she needed any additional information. We evaluated the results together and shared feedback which was a nice way to end to the campaign. Overall we are really happy and we hope to work with her again in the future!
