Phil Dunning is a writer, actor, and character comedian born and raised in Teesside in the North East of England. He has appeared in TV shows such as Feel Good, The Other One, and Am I Being Unreasonable?
As a corporate comedian, he is available for awards hosting, fireside chats, live speaking, and panels.
As a character comedian, Phil Dunning has written and performed three solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as performing at the Soho Theatre.
Phil currently hosts a live monthly comedy and cabaret show at The Moth Club with Knock2Bag.
He is a familiar face on our TV screens as a comedian and actor, starring in Harry Hill’s Clubnite (2019), Stath Lets Flats (2019), Welcome to the New Normal (2020), The Emily Atack Show (2021), and Am I Being Unreasonable (2022; 2025).
He also stars in his own BBC series Smoggie Queens, which he also wrote and created. Since its creation, the show has seen him earn multiple BAFTA and BAFTA Craft nominations and has been recommissioned for a second series.
