Otherwise known as Peter the Speaker, Peter Bayley-Hill is a business and education speaker who secured investment from Dragons’ Den’s Deborah Meaden.
He is now a full-time business and education speaker, covering topics including entrepreneurship, pitching, sales, and building a successful business.
Peter Bayley-Hill used to work as a youth worker, youth offending team officer, and community worker, before his life changed in 2018 when he appeared on Dragons’ Den. He secured a £30,000 investment from Dragon Deborah Meaden for his innovative pet product business, Petvictus.
At the time, the BBC called him “The Entrepreneur who floored the Dragons with his confident pitch”, and he has been the Entrepreneur in Residence at the Library of Birmingham, and named North-Worcestershire Entrepreneur of the Year.
Peter is better known now as Peter the Speaker due to his highly engaging business skills training and transformational workshops. He is a qualified enterprise support advisor, with many years of experience as a business advisor and business lecturer, having delivered business skills training for many schools, universities, charities, corporations, and public sector bodies.

As a dyslexic, he is passionate about providing neuroinclusive training for children and young people for whom conventional ‘talk and text’ teaching is not ideal.
He created a business development programme called ‘The Six Steps to Business Success’, which explores six pillars of business success, and the ‘3E Programme: Exams, Employment, and Entrepreneurship’ to help students move from study to work.
Peter has been regularly booked by economic development organisations and growth hubs to provide business skills training and coaching to their communities. His speaking style is dynamic and high energy, with audience participation and transformational content – which includes content that is suitable for people with neurodiversity.
He is available for keynote speeches, lecturers, presentations, event hosting, and workshops.
