Sometimes referred to as the ‘Cockney Philosopher’, Perry Offer is a business and commercial analyst, problem broker, founder of Time To Exit, and inspirational business speaker.
Perry Offer is a man who says what he believes and believes what he says. Like so many others, he is both tired and dismayed by what he sees and he wants to do something about it – and he has the insight, knowledge, experience, and energy to do it.
He has developed and implemented game-changing strategies for SMEs for almost 40 years, having been CEO or CFO for a number of companies in multiple sectors.
By identifying ‘Patch of Blue-Sky’ strategies, he has consistently demonstrated that he is able to help the owners of any business increase the value of their business by between five and tenfold at low levels of risk. This innovative, focussed approach has made him one of the leading experts of SME business valuation transformation in the UK.
London-born Perry Offer was just six when his father walked out on the family, and it was then Perry knew he was going to find his own way in life.
And now?
Perry Offer is one of the most travelled and most successful business gurus in the world.
His travels, challenges, and observations have given him an advanced insight into the onrushing dilemmas of a world which is already experiencing major literal and metaphorical earthquakes.

A highly successful schoolboy and student, he had experience in the retail trade long before he even left school, bristling with a number of exam passes and a successful accountancy course.
He has worked for a number of small and large companies over the years, in roles ranging from clerk to finance director, from managing director to consultant, to CFO and CEO.
In 2002, he started a job at Mercia Corporate Finance, a company he would stay with for almost a decade as a group consultant, director of finance, operations manager, CFO, general manager, and production director, and his career and reputation have grown from there.
Most recently, he spent two years as the CFO for Dialogue Group; he then became CEO in 2013, and grew the revenue from about £13 million a year to £40 million, and the company’s value from £2 million to £32 million.
In 2018, he founded Time to Exit; with almost 95% of SME founders finding out their business’s value isn’t great enough to facilitate their desired retirement, Perry helps increase the value 5–10x across a three-year period, providing founders with a retirement they deserve.
Perry Offer’s direct approach to troubleshooting and problems has not only earned him a great reputation and very high esteem in both the commercial and political worlds, but it has worked. He has rescued companies from the abyss, he has enhanced successful companies and taken them onto much higher planes than even they never thought could be achieved and he has done so not by simply talking a good act but by being there, hands-on, energetic, determined and enthusiastically taking the lead and with it, the responsibility.
The Law of Diminishing Simplicity: Business means hard work, but how much of that hard work is the result of, not progress, but of complicated systems and being forced to focus on non-productive activities. Is there a cure? Audiences will learn how to recognise and combat the ‘Law of Diminishing Simplicity’ that is quietly eroding their business.
In at the Deep End: Perry reveals how, at the age of six, he suffered a serious setback which resulted in him devoting himself to not only make a success of his own business life, but also discovering the keys that could help others discover that there can be success after setbacks.

Three Legs Are Better Than One: If you try to stand a tripod on one leg, it will fall over. If you try to stand a tripod on two legs, it will fall over. But if you stand a tripod on three legs, and it will stand forever. Business is the same, and Perry identifies each of the three necessary ‘legs’ and how to keep them strong in your business forever.
Rescue Your Retirement: You start a business, you thrive or survive, and then dawns the time when you start to seriously think about retirement. You have saved a little but the real jackpot will come when you sell your business and you will be able to pay yourself a weekly salary for the rest of your life. But this isn’t always the way. That rest-of-life retirement fund has not materialised for many, but why? What goes wrong? What can be done about it?
When he arrived at our studio to record, we were not sure what to expect but as soon as he began speaking the whole crew stopped to listen. Perry Offer speaks a lot of sense whether you are in business, thinking about it or are simply an individual.
