Ollie Ollerton is a former UK Special Forces Soldier and current Directing Staff on Channel 4’s SAS: Who Dares Wins Australia.
Ollie is often referred to as one of the first former members of the UK Special Forces to talk about his experiences and turn them into a positive force for good.
He is the founder and CEO of BreakPoint, a TV personality, bestselling fiction and non-fiction author, and a highly sought-after keynote speaker for public and corporate events.
Ollie Ollerton’s military career started when he joined the Royal Marine Commando’s aged 18, going on to tour Northern Ireland and Iraq.
After returning to the UK, he was recommended for SAS Special Forces Selection, and upon completion of the six months selection progress, he was one of only five candidates to pass out of an initial 250. He then joined the Special Boat Service (SBS), where he undertook a range of high-profile missions on land and sea.
Ollie’s missions have included a hostage rescue, counter terrorism, counter narcotics, counter insurgency operations, homeland security, and humanitarian efforts. Whilst working for the SBS, he also qualified as a pilot of the Submersible Dive Vessel.

Upon leaving the Special Forces, he struggled with ‘normal’ life, and he eventually found solace in alcohol. He tried to get himself back to ‘normality’ by moving to Australia, but that didn’t work either. And before long, the call of danger beckoned him again, and he went back to Iraq, working as a private security contractor for American TV crews, which saw him saving 12 members of his convoy from armed attack. He also spent seven years as a Country Project Manager in the Middle East for major infrastructure projects. After this, he moved to South East Asia for charity work, commanding a three-man team infiltrating child trafficking rings, which included rescuing 22 children destined for the sex trade and sweat shop labour.
These experiences helped him define his future purpose – to help others – and thus BreakPoint was born.

I was blown away by how many pieces of advice Ollie had to share, so I would say we could have definitely had a longer session with him. I know we requested an hour, but for future clients you may want to encourage them to consider a 1.5 hour session, because he has so much valuable content to cover.

Battle Ready was the Mike Tyson hook to the balls that I needed. It’s got me totally reassessing my life, my actions and habits and my circle of friends. It’s bloody brilliant. It’s exactly what I needed at this point in my life.
