Nick Knowles

Nick Knowles is an award winning writer, TV presenter and musical artist with a career spanning nearly 30 years.

Appearing on many prime time TV programmes, Nick Knowles is most well known for being the main presenter on DIY SOS: The Big Build. This home renovation programme on the BBC has been running for over 20 years and sees local people, traders and family come together to complete home improvements for those in need of help.

Nick started his TV presenting career in 1994 on an ITV programme called Ridge Riders, where he toured the ancient trackways of the South of England on a variety of different motorbikes.

Since then Nick has appeared in or presented 28 TV programmes, including Real Rescues, Who Dares Wins, Perfection and Break the Safe. He has also written and produced music, as well as written and co-directed a feature film.

In 2018, Nick Knowles was a contestant on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, where he came sixth. In more recent years he has presented a number of documentaries with a travel theme.
