Maya Rooz is a keynote speaker working with senior leaders on the conditions that protect clarity and judgement under pressure. Former Chief of Staff to the CMO at Jaguar Land Rover Global Marketing, with over 15 years across global enterprises, she brings first-hand experience of the rooms where high-stakes decisions are made.
Her work identifies the noise, systems, and habits that leave capable leaders operating at a fraction of their capacity, and replaces them with conditions that restore clarity.
Her leadership book, The Protected Mind is due out in late 2026.
With over 15 years in the global automotive industry, she held positions at General Motors and Saab, as well as Chief of Staff to the CMO at Jaguar Land Rover. She has worked inside large, complex organisations, navigating the boardroom pressures, strategic demands, and leadership challenges that her keynote work is built around.
Since transitioning into keynote speaking and executive coaching, Maya has spoken at Reuters Automotive Europe, the Women Automotive Summit Europe for three consecutive years, and delivered keynotes and workshops for organisations including Deloitte.
She is a certified executive coach (ICF-ACC) and the author of The Protected Mind, due out in late 2026.

Maya works with C-suite leaders and senior leadership teams on cognitive bandwidth, decision quality, and the conditions that allow capable leaders to reclaim their attention and focus. Her corporate work includes leadership workshops, executive coaching, and system-level interventions, helping organisations identify and reduce the noise of the modern workplace.
The work is built around a simple but powerful premise: attention is the most valuable and most overlooked resource in any leadership team. When the conditions to protect it are deliberately built, decision quality improves and performance sharpens across the organisation.
Leading Through Noise: Senior leaders are hired for their judgement and the high-stakes decisions. Yet the environments most of them operate in generate noise that consumes the cognitive bandwidth they were hired to use. This talk reframes the conditions for executive performance that must be deliberately built.
Races are Won and Lost in the Pit Stop: In the world of high-performance racing, championships are won and lost in the pit stop, not just on the track. This talk applies the same logic to executive performance, making the case that recovery is not the opposite of performance. It is part of the strategy.

Her past gigs include the Women Automotive Network Summit in 2023, 2024, and 2025; the Reuters Automotive Europe 2025 Summit; and the International Baccalaureate Global Conference in 2024.
“Maya’s keynote on energy management in the workplace was refreshingly uncomfortable, especially in a room with 500 men who do not normally talk about this.”
Executive, Reuters Automotive Europe 2025
“Maya Rooz is a personal trainer for my mind. Working with her has given me a private, safe space to release what I don’t always feel comfortable sharing elsewhere, especially as a CEO. She creates the space to open up, release the burden, and get perspectives I wouldn’t always see on my own.”
CEO, Automotive, Middle East
“If you are looking for someone to hold a room and make every person in it feel like they belong, Maya Rooz is your person.”
Stephanie May, Women Automotive Network
“Maya Rooz shared practical strategies for regaining focus in an increasingly distracted work environment, drawing on her experience as a coach, speaker, and automotive industry expert. Her insights on reducing interruptions, creating routines that support concentration, and moving from reactive to intentional work were clear and actionable. The feedback from participants was very positive. She sparked important discussions on how to work with greater focus and purpose. We appreciate Maya’s professionalism and expertise and look forward to future opportunities to collaborate.”
