He is also a familiar voice on the radio as the newsreader on BBC Radio 1 for the Sara Cox’s Breakfast Show. He also presents Weekend Breakfast (BBC Radio 5 Live) and The Briefing on the online radio station Monocle 24.
Matt has written for The Independent, Monocle and Cycling Plus and currently has a monthly column in Bikes Etc. He has pedalled his way to completing the gruelling L’Étape du Tour in the French Alps and has finished the London Marathon.
Matt is an experienced corporate speaker, from facilitating discussions and conducting interviews with the likes of Fujitsu UK and the Cartus Home Sale Network, to hosting Frontier Magazine’s Travel Retail Awards in Cannes.
He also presents BBC World’s in-air programming for American.
Matt is a keen fundraiser and has helped to raise more than £400,000 for Norwood; a charity that supports children and families with learning difficulties.
Other corporate work includes hosting the Frontline PR Industry Awards, Britain’s Most Inspiring Fundraiser for Everyclick.com, and chairing a panel Q&A for Norwood Young Lawyers.
In both 2018 and 2019 Matt headlined on Great British Speakers Sir Bradley Wiggins UK tours, An Evening with Bradley Wiggins where he facilitated Bradley to speak candidly about growing up, his career, retirement and his cycling heroes.
