Mark has also appeared on Channel 4’s Come Dine With Me Celebrity Christmas Special, winning the show after impressing the other celebrity guests with his Victorian themed menu. In 2012, Mark hosted the Channel 4 panel show The Mad Bad Ad Show, in which he, alongside team captains Micky Flanagan and Mark Watson and other comedic guests, unravelled the world of advertising. He has also made appearances on Channel 4’s Taxi Gags and Balls of Steel and hosted Urban Legends on Five.
Mark is also a regular stand-up comedian and radio DJ. He currently presents a collective of popular music, current affairs and celebrity guests on Funbar Radio. He is also a regular guest presenter on LBC’s radio Breakfast Show.
Mark also regularly MC’s at Soho’s leading comedy venue, the Amused Moose and returned to the Edinburgh Festival in 2011 after a successful stint of his 2007 one-man show I’m here to help! In which he acted as Agony Aunt to an array of problems volunteered by his audience.
Mark fronted and co-wrote his own live comedy show called The Sex Guru, a piece in collaboration with Austrian sexologist Wolfgang Weinberger.
Mark hosted the 1st Annual Freelancer of the Year Awards, the Financial Times PIPA Awards, and the 4th Annual Conch Awards (sponsored by Pinewood Studios). He has fronted at the Edinburgh Festival’s launch party and broadcast live from the premiere of the 2008 Batman sequel, The Dark Knight from Odeon Leicester Square. Mark has also presided over the glittering Filmon.com launch in Central London, acted as host and question master at Sky Media’s Pub Movie Quiz, hosted the World Photography Awards in Cannes and chaired Sky Movies Debate: Which is The Best Batman Movie?
