Lucy Beresford is a psychotherapist and life coach, helping individuals to release emotional distress and health trauma; high-achievers shift their biggest visions into reality; broadcasters on fast deadlines analyse current affairs in the news; corporates understand consumer behaviour and electrify their marketing campaigns; and companies unlock better performance in the workplace.
She is an experienced broadcaster with over 20 years of clinical and media experience. Whether it’s a royal coronation, global conflicts, the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, or women’s football, Lucy knows how to make stories accessible for ordinary people.
Lucy provides one-to-one support through psychotherapy, walking therapy, and C-Suite Executive Coaching.

In 2014, she founded the award-winning Kindness Club to prompt random acts of kindness up and down the UK. Since then, she has worked with schools, prisons, TFL, and MPs. Through The Kindness Club, she set up Refuge For Books, a campaign to get people donating books to the Refuge charity, specialising in providing support to women and children experiencing domestic violence.
She hosts the popular On the Couch podcast, where she takes a deep dive into the relationships making the headlines in politics, and explore the psychology of political life. Her guests have included actors, ballerinas, campaigners, chefs, illustrators and novelists – even a lion whisperer.

She hosted her own weekly show on LBC for three years, speaking to everyone from sexual health campaigner to Love Island contestants. She also worked with Eamonn Holmes on his TalkRADIO Drivetime show, and hosted The Lucy Beresford Show on V2 Radio.
On the television, Lucy has worked on Sky News’ The Papers, looking at the stories making the front pages, discussing breaking news including natural disasters, political events, war, and award ceremonies. She has also appeared on Good Morning Britain, The Jeremy Vine Show, and This Morning.
Along with articles on ‘sexual anorexia’ for The Times, she has written articles on relationships, psychology, wellness, and mental health for publications including Cosmopolitan, Daily Mail, Evening Standard, Stella, and The Telegraph. She spent five years as the resident agony aunt for Psychologies magazine, as well as stints working for Healthy Magazine, Tatler, and The Spectator.
She is the bestselling author of Happy Relationships: At Home, Work and Play (2013), a one-stop guide on how to de-toxify your life. She is also a published novelist, writing Something I’m Not (2009), Invisible Threads (2015), and Hungry For Love (2016).
