Lorraine Wright MBE is a multi-hyphenate leader; a British-Ghanian entrepreneur, Oxford Executive MBA Graduate, and strategic advisor, with over 15 years of experience in education, tech, real estate, and social impact.
Blending corporate strategy with cultural fluency, Lorraine helps professionals and organisations to turn their bold ideas into tangible results, delivering talks that are powerful, practical, and punchy.
She is currently the Head of Patronships at Amicable Divorce, leading the strategy to scale across the UK’s leading separation and divorce support service. Lorraine works at the intersection of business strategy, societal impact, and workplace wellbeing, partnering with corporate, professional networks, and wellbeing platforms to embed Amicable as a workplace benefit and community resource.
She is now a highly sought-after speaker, and regularly talks to clients including Meta, GSMA, Financial Times, and John Lyon School. Her talks inspire individuals, leaders, and teams to think beyond traditional benefits, own their narratives, and to build workplaces where people can thrive.
Lorraine was recently named as a Top 25 Black Entrepreneur to watch by HSBC and the UK Black Business Show, and was named an MBE in 2022.
Lorraine Wright’s career has been varied, seeing her working for Accenture, Volkswagen, Smart Technology Solutions, Solex, UBS, and Meta.
She is the founder of Resonates Well CIC and University Gospel Choir of the Year (UGCY), and has since empowered over 25,000 young people across the UK and Ghana. She uses the arts to build confidence, foster that feeling of belonging, and improving mental health. Over the years, UGCY has grown into one of the most anticipated events in the UK’s university calendar, drawing together choirs from across the country.
A University of Oxford Exec MBA Graduate, Lorraine is the co-founder of the investor-backed music tech platform Vocsta Ltd. and founder of Diaspora To Home, supporting Ghanaians and Africans living in the diaspora navigating the complexities of investing in Ghana’s real estate market.
She is a prominent voice in the charity and community world, and was an early advisor to the fast-growing Ghanian agri-tech startup Grow For Me.
