The Earl and the Pharaoh is a biography of the 5th Earl of Carnarvon, who discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun with Howard Carter.
In her latest book, which has just been published, ‘A Year at Highclere, Secrets and Stories at the Real Downton Abbey’, Lady Countess of Carnarvon reveals what it truly means to live and work at this extraordinary home.
