Jules O’Brian is a stand-up comedian, writer and former English teacher whose sharp wit and unflinching honesty have made her a truly engaging voice on the UK comedy circuit.

After sixteen years working in education, Jules swapped the classroom for the comedy club, drawing on her experiences of teenage chaos, single motherhood and midlife reinvention. Her debut solo show Avoid Excessive Cleavage (and Other Advice to Ignore) has been praised for its blend of humour, vulnerability and relatable storytelling.

Since making her mark on the Midlands and national circuits, Jules has supported acts including Hal Cruttenden and Luisa Omielan, performing at leading venues and festivals across the UK and abroad – from Manchester’s Frog & Bucket to the Altitude Comedy Festival in Austria.
