Jamie Catto is a musician, filmmaker, creativity expert, keynote speaker, and workshop facilitator.
Best known as a founding member of stadium dance act Faithless, Jamie is an international musician who has sold 20 million albums and collaborated with legends such as Michael Stripe, Alanis Morissette, and Santana. His multimedia project – 1 Giant Leap – was recorded over five continents, achieved two Grammy nominations, and became a Discovery Channel series featuring contributions from Kurt Vonnegut, Brian Eno, and Tim Robbins.
For the last 20 years, Jamie has worked with individuals to foster personal and professional transformation. In a corporate setting, he applies the creative processes he developed as a music producer and film director, along with his extensive study of psychology and philosophy to spark innovation, empower teams, and supercharge growth.
Jamie Catto is a founding member of Faithless, and was one of two vocalists, art director, and video director of the band. He performed the lead vocals on the top 40 hit “Don’t Leave” released in 1996.
After leaving, he joined 1 Giant Leap with Duncan Bridgeman, touring areas such as Ghana, Senegal, South Africa, Uganda, India, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, America, and Europe, with a digital camera and a laptop. Their first album was nominated for two Grammys in 2003 and sold over 300,000 copies.
The band went on to collaborate with the likes of Bono, Susan Sarandon, Dido, Brian Eno, Yoko Ono, Billy Connolly, Neneh Cherry, Robbie Williams, Bob Geldof, and Stephen Fry.

Jamie brings a range of teacher training, workshops, and speaking events for facilitators, leaders, coaches, and clowns. He aims to make self-reflection hip enough to save us from ourselves, through:
Play – through play we clear the path for creativity and social engagement by dropping the weight of emotionally charged reactions.
Creativity – fuels all that we do whether creating art or how we live our everyday lives connected to the Flow state.
Facing the Shadow – because we all have a dark side and the sooner we let it in and get to know it, the less it will threaten to drag us into the shadows with it.
Intimacy – the most precious and sought after experience on earth allowing us to experience true, deep connection.
Authenticity – it’s exhausting wearing a mask. When we let it fall we can redirect our energy to where it’s most needed for ourselves and for the world, giving others permission to do the same.
In 2017, Jamie published his book Insanely Gifted: Turn Your Dramas Into Creative Rocket Fuel. This book is full of “techniques and games to transform our thinking and turn our inner demons into allies.”
Insanely Gifted Leadership: This seminar explores why we do what we do, how our childhood experiences shaped us, and how these games and processes transform those experiences. It introduces the Twin-Trail of loving activism, where every challenge serves both as a gift to the public and a journey into our own hearts.
Self Care Ninja: Self-care is one of the main cornerstones of all the workshops and Shadow Work philosophy. None of our attendees can look after their boundaries, or navigate the Jamie Catto games without it. It is the primary skill needed for anyone in service, in fact one could argue that all the Jamie Catto games are tools for self-care. While we’re awakening this in our attendees, we need to be embodying it ourselves, especially with the unique challenges of being a travelling teacher
Fool’s Gold: We explore the power of teaching “from the middle of the mess,” sharing our own struggles and hard-won lessons to show students that teachers are human too. Through embracing vulnerability, imperfection and the role of the sacred fool, we create permission for others to do the same.
Using the Force: We explore the ancient Taoist understanding of Chi and the practice of Transmission—where a teacher embodies and energetically conveys the skill or experience they are sharing. When applied to meditation, this can help students access a deeper and more transformative level of experience.
Up Close and Personal: We explore the power of mentoring in small groups and one-to-one sessions, learning how to build trust and create a safe space for deeper work. Through deep listening and empathy, we develop leadership skills that help unlock deeper insights and connection.
Unleashing Corporate Creativity: From Blocked to Breakthrough: Many see productive creativity as something that ‘hopefully happens’. Jamie invites audience members to awaken the creative force that has often been long buried under expectations, fear, conformity, and other unconscious blocks. Utilising his experience from film and music, along with Jungian shadow work and tools gathered on global travels, he demonstrates how individuals can access their available stream of creativity and innovation.
The Power of Authentic Connection in the Workplace: Mental health days and absence is soaring to record highs. The epidemic of loneliness and lack of genuine connection is a huge limitation on the productivity and thriving atmosphere needed in the workplace. Although generally resisted, empathy and vulnerability can become corporate superpowers. Jamie shows team members how to safely lower their guards and masks, and to gradually dare to be more authentic and trusting and feel part of the team.
Transforming Challenges Into Rocket Fuel: The Art of Corporate Resilience: Jamie turns corporate adversities into opportunities, guiding audiences to efficiently reframe obstacles as invitations, not threats, and to use ‘shadow work’ to convert setbacks into fuel. With the correct tools and framing, it’s possible to transform all so-called failures into discoveries, to encourage sensible risks, harvesting treasure that is usually unavailable to the fear-based, performance-anxious workforce.

What he did was breathtaking. It energised the team and brought out our full potential.

This connection experience will supersede any other training you have done. Oh, the camaraderie! And multiple heart-bursting moments. This is by far the best ‘humaning’ investment I have ever made in myself, and for my community.

I attended one of Jamie’s workshops… He’s good. A foul-mouthed, passionate, present, witty, musical wizard.
