Jack McMullen burst onto the scene making his television debut in Brookside (2002-03). His role on the show would see him win two British Soap Awards for Best Newcomer, and for Best On-Screen Partnership.
He would then go on to appear in other much loved programmes like Grange Hill (2004-08), The Bill (2008), Doctors (2006-09), and Casualty (2006-11), before spending two years on Waterloo Road (2010-12).
It would be his appearance in the Hollywood blockbuster Le Mans ’66 – also known as Ford V Ferrari – in 2019 that would catapult him to a wider spotlight. Unfortunately, just as his career was becoming international, COVID put a spanner in the works, as it did for so many in the entertainment industry. But once things were back up, Jack hit the ground running and started in Time alongside the actors Sean Bean and Stephen Graham, and Hijack (2023) alongside Idris Elba.
As well as his performances on screen, Jack has been treading the boards at the Finborough Theatre in ‘Carthage’ (2014), and the Park Theatre in ‘Kill Me Now’ (2015).
Jack’s journey from child actor to successful leading man is a testament to his determination, his grit, his talent, and his unwavering commitment to his craft.
