Fiona Allen is a stand-up comedian known for her sassy anecdotal comedy style.

A natural comedian, warm but fearless, she walks her audience through frustrations with her husband and three children, and her need to get out of the house and away from them.

As well as being a popular comedian, she is best known for writing and starring in the iconic Emmy award-winning and BAFTA-nominated TV comedy series Smack the Pony.

Alongside Smack the Pony, Fiona Allen has appeared in many sketch shows, including We Know Where You Live, Goodness Gracious Me, Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats, and the All Star Comedy Show.

She has also appeared in television dramas and sitcoms such as Dalziel and Pascoe, Coronation Street, Happiness, Death in Paradise, and Lord Edgware Dies.

As an actress she has appeared in the film version of the Viz comic strip The Fat Slags (2004), the E4 drama Skins, BBC’s Waterloo Road, and the soap opera EastEnders.

As a comedian, she has performed at the Comedy Cellar, Off the Kerb, Backyard Comedy Club, Outside The Box Comedy Club, Howlin’ Entertainment Comedy Clubs, Leeds Comedy Cabaret, Just the Tonic, Coastal Comedy Club, and many more.

She performed her debut stand-up show ‘On the Run’ at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has since performed it up and down the UK on a national tour.
