Esther Manito is a smart and vibrant performer and comedian.
She’s been seen on television shows including Live At the Apollo, Stand Up Sketch Show, Hypothetical, and Russell Kane’s Evil Genius. She’s also co-hosted Radio 4 Extra’s NewsJack Unplugged.
Alongside her own shows, Esther has supported other comedians such as Alan Davies, Sindhu Vee, Shappi Khorsandi, Jason Manford, Jo Brand, and Al Murray.
She is a popular corporate choice and has worked for brands including Canopius Insurance, Flamingo Beauty, and Ucisca.
Esther Manito’s comedy career started in 2016 after studying at London’s Camden Comedy School. She was the first female comedian to perform at Dubai Opera house, was a regional finalist in 2017’s Funny Women Awards, and was a finalist in the 2019 Arab British Centre’s Award for Culture.
Her Edinburgh Fringe Festival debut came in 2019 with her show ‘Crusade’. Her second full-length show ‘#notallmen’ won Best Show at the 2021 Leicester Comedy Show; she has also performed the show at the Edinburgh Fringe.

She has become a familiar face on TV, having appeared regularly on ITV’s Stand Up Sketch Show, as well as appearing on BBC’s Live at the Apollo – and making appearances on hit shows like Hypothetical and Celebrity Pointless, as well as Comedy Central. She has also continued to make regular appearances on the Radio, where she has contributed to BBC Radio 4’s News Quiz, Mark Watson Questions Everything, and Frank Skinner’s show Someone Found This Helpful, as well as being a series regular on BBC Scotland’s Breaking The News.
She is the co-host of the Ghastly Women Podcast. Together with Lily Phillips, they “bring to light the other side of the so called weaker sex and put some truly horrible women up with the big bad boys.”
Esther has also appeared on a number of popular podcasts, including Evil Genius with Russell Kane, Parenting Hell with Josh Widdicombe and Rob Beckett, Drunk Women Solving Crime, and on BBC’s Bitesize Primary Parents’ Survival Guide.
In 2017 she anonymously released the satirical book Don’t Panic I’m Islamic which was recognised as the ‘Best Humour Book of the Year’ by the Sunday Times.
