Eloise Head, the creator behind Fitwaffle, has made a name for herself as a social media sensation and author, sharing easy, approachable recipes for indulgent treats.
With over 11 million followers across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, Eloise Head has built a thriving community of dessert lovers who eagerly follow her for simple, indulgent recipes and baking inspiration that anyone can achieve at home.
Eloise’s Fitwaffle brand focuses on quick, achievable recipes designed to appeal to both baking beginners and experienced dessert lovers.
Previously, Eloise had an obsessive relationship with ‘clean foods’ and fitness, which meant sweet treats were always dismissed. However, when she became a personal trainer, she took a very keen interest in learning about nutrition. Eloise learned that all foods are okay in moderation.
Fitwaffle was accidentally founded Fitwaffle with her fiancé whilst documenting her fitness and food journey on Instagram in 2015. Now, Eloise is running Fitwaffle full-time, loving being a food creator every day of the week.
The recipes have been featured in over 100 news articles worldwide and also shown on national TV. Her debut book, Baking It Easy, was an instant success, reaching number one on Amazon’s Top 100 and spending over a month on the Sunday Times Bestseller List.
Before launching her successful Fitwaffle brand, Eloise Head worked as a personal trainer.
Her background in fitness provided a foundation for understanding health and nutrition, which later became central to her unique approach to recipe development.
In 2017, she founded Fitwaffle as a platform to merge her love of fitness with creative, approachable baking. Initially, Fitwaffle combined fitness content with food posts. Still, it quickly gained traction for its indulgent, easy-to-follow recipes, leading her to pivot fully toward culinary content.
By 2019, Eloise’s distinctive recipe videos had gone viral, establishing her as a prominent online baking influencer and cookbook author with millions of followers across social media.

In 2021, Ebury Publishing – a division of Penguin Random House – won a seven-way auction to publish Eloise Head’s first cookbook.
Eloise Head has now authored three popular cookbooks that bring her viral baking recipes to a wider audience. Her first book, Fitwaffle’s Baking It Easy, was released in 2022 and quickly became a Sunday Times bestseller. This cookbook features over 100 easy dessert recipes, including many fan favourites with only three ingredients.
Highlights include her Cookies and Cream Cake and Chocolate Caramel Fudge, along with recipes tailored for special occasions. This book reflects her commitment to making baking approachable and fun, with straightforward instructions for a variety of cakes, cookies, and sweet treats.
In 2023, Eloise published Fitwaffle’s Baked In One, a collection of 100 delicious recipes that can all be made in a 20cm square tin.
In 2024, her third book, Fitwaffle’s No-Bake Baking, was published. This book focuses on recipes that don’t require an oven. This collection includes easy-to-make desserts like cheesecakes, brownies, and microwave-friendly options, catering to those who prefer quick treats with minimal equipment. Known for simple ingredient lists and delicious results, this cookbook is designed to make indulgent baking accessible even to beginners.
It was on social media that Fitwaffle was accidentally birthed when Eloise was documenting her fitness and food journey on Instagram back in 2015. Since those early days of sharing, Eloise and Fitwaffle have become an online sensation. On TikTok she has 5.8 million followers and 193 million likes. She has 4.4 million followers on Instagram, while on Facebook, she has 1.2 million followers.
