Dr Megan Rossi studied Nutrition and Dietetics at Queensland University of Technology, before gaining a PhD in gut health from the University of Queensland.
Throughout her studies, she was working with the Australian Olympic Synchronised Swimming Team as their Consultant Dietitian, before working as a Clinical and Research Dietitian and Queensland Health, and supervising the nutrition and dietetics research projects at the University of Technology.
She has also worked as a Consultant Dietitian for Boeing, and a Gut Health Consultant for Leon Restaurants.

In 2017, Megan established herself as The Gut Health Doctor, specialising in linking gut health with other physical and mental conditions. This then evolved into the Gut Health Clinic, founded in 2019, where she works with a team of gut specialist dietitians on illnesses including IBD, IBS, Diabetes, Cancer, and Coeliac Disease.
The Gut Health Clinic supports workplace wellbeing and helps people to take control of their own gut-related issues, such as bloating. They provide evidence-backed support to create practical strategies, and personalised help for gut transformation.
Also in 2019, she co-founded Bio&Me, a food range with a focus on gut health. In 2021, the brand was named UK Future Brand of the Year, achieved B Corp Status in 2022, and also received investment from England footballer Harry Kane.

Eat More, Live Well (2021): In this follow-up, Dr Rossi introduces the concept of the “Diversity Diet,” encouraging readers to incorporate a variety of plant-based foods into their meals.
