Dr Angela Sharma is a passionate advocate for empowering women and their supporters with the information necessary to navigate menopause successfully.
With over 23 years of experience as a GP, accreditation as a Menopause Specialist by the BMS, and the establishment of her private online menopause clinic, Spiced Pear Health, Dr Angela is exceptionally well-equipped for this task.
Dr Angela Sharma completed her training in Advanced Menopause Care at King’s College Hospital in London. It was here she gained valuable experience managing complex menopause cases.
Since then, Dr Angela has actively developed online resources on premature menopause for the BMS. She was also recently elected to the BMS medical advisory board council.
Additionally, Dr Angela continues to conduct sessions in her NHS and private menopause clinics.
Dr Angela has received specialised training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for menopause, an evidence-based therapy aimed at improving menopause symptoms. Her expertise also extends to sexual medicine, knowledge which she incorporates into her understanding of how menopause can impact women’s sexual function.
