Danny provided an incredible motivational session, adapted to benefit our colleagues in Europe during a period of change. He emphasised key themes around resilience, teamwork and converting challenges into manageable goals for positive outcomes. Our colleagues appreciated his friendly, open and humorous delivery of highly complex and emotive themes and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. I would recommend Danny if you’re looking to reset and refresh your culture.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Danny Crates to share his story at our Disability ERG speaker engagement. Danny tells his story with such warmth, humour, and openness, speaking candidly about the challenges of his journey as a Paralympian.
It was a truly engaging and thought-provoking session that left the audience with a deeper appreciation of purpose, resilience, and how that links to performance.

I booked Danny for our client’s event and he was a wonderful speaker and a friendly, approachable person who was a pleasure to work with. Danny not only dined with our guests but spoke insightfully about his story and key messages and then ended with a great Q&A. Danny also stayed on to meet guests, engage and allow people to look at his gold medal! The client fed back also to say – “Danny was a brilliant speaker – really flexible to what we were looking for and then a great communicator on the stage. His message was really well received by our audience and he took a wide range of questions and offered great insights and perspectives. Highly recommended.

Working with Danny at our inaugural Company Conference and Awards Dinner was an absolute delight. From the initial enquiry through to the delivery on the day Danny was 100% aligned to what we were wanting to achieve from his guest speaker session. Through Danny’s own challenges and experiences it helped to embed our theme around leadership, team work and resilience which resonated well with our attendees.
Danny took on the role of compere for our Awards Dinner which really helped to elevate the event to one of celebration that all were able to enjoy. Thank you Danny for being an integral part of our inaugural event.
Fiona Radford, Head of Sales and Marketing, Care Concern Group
Our yearly kick of meeting is a highlight on the calendar to motivate the commercial teams for the year ahead. However, with the challenge of Covid 19, structural changes and a virtual setting we were challenged with our normal delivery mechanism. We enlisted the help of Danny (for the second time in 7 years) to deliver an online motivational talk with a softer Q&A vodcast interaction.
His personal stories and energy allowed the audience to connect with him in these difficult times. His messages of managing yourself during adversity and setting targets to maintain focus resonated through the organisation. As always, Danny was a pleasure to work with and the reason we brought him back in to the team and I don’t rule out a third sales meeting!

I just wanted to get in contact to say a huge thank you for your presentation and talk on Thursday evening. The content and messaging was extremely relevant to the sales team in the room and an excellent mixture of sentiment and humour, and everyone learnt a lot around motivating themselves, breaking down big goals into easy-to-manage milestones.
All of the feedback has been very positive and you set the launch off to a brilliant start and got everyone into the winning mindset, so for that I am very grateful!
Heather Lindsay, Product Manager, Johnson & Johnson
Danny was brilliant and exactly what the conference required. His presentation touched on themes of goal setting, improvement and achievement which were extremely relevant for all the universities in attendance. The mix of humour and seriousness was spot on also. Can I also say how nice it was dealing with Danny, he was lovely and we really appreciate that he stayed around for a chat.

Danny Crates was one of the most inspirational guests at our recent Power to Perform week. His talk was incredibly inspiring and applicable to everybody, proving that no hurdle in life is impossible to overcome. His charm, humour and honesty were met with approval by a very engaged audience and I know that each person left having been motivated and touched by Danny’s unique story.
Peter Moss, Managing Director, Trading, Financial & Risk, Thomson Reuters
Danny presented at three staff events, speaking to almost 500 employees in total, and each time the response from our guests was overwhelmingly positive. Danny is very comfortable, genuine and engaging, both in front of an audience and when speaking individually to our guests. His presentations were incredibly inspiring and motivating, and were delivered with a wonderful mix of sincerity, clarity and good humour.
Prior to the events Danny made sure he understood our brief, he asked all the right questions, and his presentation reflected this. He was a pleasure to work with, and I am looking forward to having the opportunity to work with him again.
Fritha Ryan, Senior Communications Executive, Ingeus UK Limited
Danny gave a superb presentation and Q&A session to the staff at Rutherford Briant. Danny has a captivating story and great style and humour in presenting it. His philosophy of making incremental gains really resonated with all of the team.
Everyone who attended found Danny to be highly motivational, inspirational and a great example of how someone so down to earth and likeable can overcome and achieve so much through positive mind-set, goal setting, persistence and hard work. Â I would strongly recommend Danny to any business looking for an energetic way to motivate and inspire their staff.
Toby Briant, Managing Director, Rutherford Briant
Danny was our Master of Ceremonies for the Thurrock Civic Awards. He was brilliant. Our awards finalists are very humble people and Danny made every one of them feel very special. As the organiser it took just one phone call with Danny to be totally confident that he was going to be perfect for our event.
Professional throughout, very amiable and with the ability to make everyone relax, knowing that he was going to do everything he could to make the evening go smoothly. His after-dinner speech was inspirational, full of humour and with lots of local references too. Nothing was too much trouble. I cannot recommend Danny highly enough.
Sarah Welton, Strategy Manager, Strategy, Communications & Customer Services
Danny’s motivational speech was truly inspirational, not only to the children listening but all of the adults. His message to grab every opportunity that life throws at you, to work hard, persevere, and forever look to improve even if it’s just 1% was extremely clear.
His own journey through life is a truly remarkable story and one which should be shared. Following the event, Danny took time to have photographs taken, talk to small groups of children who had other questions to ask and sign copies of his book, Danny Boy. Thank you, Danny, for a wonderful morning.
Ian Bowyer, Head Teacher, Boreham Primary School, Chelmsford, Essex
One of the most motivating and inspiring speakers we have heard. He had the perfect manner in speaking to students and impressed our visitors immensely.

Danny relates to the whole audience (students and parents). He is a charming man with a charismatic personality that holds everyone’s attention. He gave freely of his time and stayed for the whole event talking, signing autographs and allowing people to see and handle his Gold medal. Everyone at the Presentation ceremony thanked me for finding such a tremendous character to present the GCSE & A Level certificates and trophies. No one will forget this event.
