Céline Cousteau’s love of nature comes from spending time during her childhood aboard her grandforther’s research vessel, the Calyspo. Expeditions include when she journeyed to the Amazon for an 18 month expedition at age nine, navigating the coastle and jungle waters which were still largely unknown to the outside world at that time.
It is said that this is what influenced her career, determined she was to understand the human “tribe” and the relationships forged between individuals, communities, and ecosystems. And it is this inspiration that lies behind her artwork, activism, and films.
Céline is fluent in three languages – handy when her speaking career takes her around the globe, speaking to organisations such as the World Economic Forum and the United Nations, and interviewing figures such as President Lasso of Ecuador. She continues to inspire audiences on national and international platforms for corporate events, retreats, educational institutions, in workshops and on television programmes.
