Spearheading the healthy snack boom, Cassandra built the business into Europe’s largest independent snacking company, reaching over £100 million in sales!
Her products are sold around the world in over 20 countries, and are for sale in every major UK retailer. PROPER Snacks were also the first ever B Corp snacks company – certified as a company that meets “high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability”.
In 2020 she was awarded an MBE from the late Queen for services to the food industry.

Founded in 2010, Cassandra Stavrou MBE has grown her business into Europe’s largest independent healthier snacking company. But that isn’t her only foray into the world of food, as since 2019 she has sat on the UK Government’s Food and Drink Sector Council.
PROPER snacks were one of the first snacking brands to recognise the true value of community and culture, developing a “cult-like” audience along the way.
In 2019, Cassandra sold PROPER Snacks as part of a deal to form one of Europe’s largest healthy snacking companies, WARP Snacks, creating a new challenger to the already established market giants. She navigated this deal during the height of Brexit, the COVID pandemic, and whilst expecting a baby. She continues to operation on the board of WARP Snacks.
Her love for the industry has seen Cassandra become an active investor and advisor, backing the next generation of impact businesses.
Her entrepreneurial skills and expertise have seen Cassandra featured in a number of publications, including The Times, Yahoo Finance, and The Telegraph. She has also appeared on podcasts such as How I Grew My Brand, SheerLuxe, and Jimmy’s Jobs of the Future.
