With an impressive career spanning multiple national newsrooms, Ashley Armstrong has been recognised for her reporting on some of the biggest stories in business, such as the implosion of Peter Mandelson’s lobby business Global Counsel.
Whilst at The Sun, Ashley brought some of the biggest business stories to life, including the Liz Truss market meltdown and cost of living crises, as well as editing alongside a range of FTSE 100 chief executives.
Other topics she covered whilst at The Sun include the mini-budget market meltdown, energy crisis, economic impact of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Ted Baker disappearing from the high street, Carpetright filing for administration, as well as the water watchdog scandal.
