I had a great night doing the Audience With show, mainly because it wasn’t the usual football Q&A. Andi Mac is a brilliant host, a bit different as she doesn’t lean on footie jargon or stats. We talked about football, but more about life after it. How things change once the noise stops, what you miss, what you don’t and how you work out who you are without the game telling you. It felt honest and unforced. The audience were great, the night had a good feel to it and I enjoyed it more than I expected. I’ll do another one.
