As Clinton Baptiste, Alex Lowe went on a UK-wide tour throughout 2026, performing in many top venues, including a sell-out show at the prestigious London Palladium. Clinton has also hosted a six-part podcast series titled Clinton Baptiste’s Paranormal Podcast; it has since been re-commissioned another five times. Clinton also appeared on The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X, initially to promote his podcast but he has now become a regular guest on the show.

Clinton is a phenomenon that has intrigued the psychic community for years. His unique comedic style has captivated audiences across the globe for many years. His comedy transcends the ordinary and delves into the mysteries of the psychic realm, delivering it with a punchline that leaves audiences double over with laughter.

Alex created the character of Barry From Watford in the early 2000s, calling into the Iain Lee Radio show on the London station LBC 97.3 in 2005, alongside his “wife” Margaret, who would be portrayed by Catherine Tate in future shows. Barry has been a popular caller on the radio show ever since, and went with it when it moved to Absolute Radio and Talkradio. Barry has also appeared on Harry Shearer’s Le Show radio programme, discussing the American Presidential election and global holiday celebrations.

In 2010, Barry released the Barry From Watford podcast which found itself on iTunes’ podcast top ten list. He also co-hosts The Angelos and Barry Show with Angelos Epithemiou. He currently has his own show on the radio comedy channel Fubar Radio, launched in 2014.

Barry has appeared on Channel 4’s The Feeling Nuts Comedy Night, Barry’s Lunch Club, and Cheap Cheap Cheap.

He has gone on to appear in BBC1’s Mansfield Park, Three Men in a Boat, The Fall and Rise of Rome, The Fast Show, Fun at the Funeral Parlour, The Big Impression, Grass, The 11 O’clock Show, Peter’s Friends, Much Ado About Nothing, Haunted, The Casual Vacancy, Pompidou, The Anna and Katy Show, and Bremner, Bird and Fortune.

He has also appeared on stage in Another Country at the Queen’s Theatre, The Hypochondriac at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and Fatal Attraction at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.
