Alex Beresford

Television presenter and weathercaster Alex Beresford is one of the most popular faces on ITV, best known for appearing on Good Morning Britain (2014-).

Bristolian Alex started behind the camera in 2004 as an autocue operative for Bristol-based ITV West Country, before retraining as a weatherman. By 2007, he was working on national television, working as the main weatherman for ITV Weather.

As well as being one of the most familiar weather broadcasters on television, Alex has also reported for and hosted a number of other programmes including Tonight (1999-), World’s Weirdest Weather (2013-2016), and Britain’s Most Extreme Weather (2014). Alex is happy to take on extreme challenges whilst working, which have included jumping out of a hot air balloon at 10,000 feet and wing walking for the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta.

Alex is also known for his motivational talks around being a black role model and the dangers of knife crime.
