Having completed a degree in Aerospace Engineering,  a BSc in Science and Science Fiction and a Masters degree in Communicating Science, Jon Chase has a wealth of scientific knowledge.

In 2008, Jon was recognised by the Guardian as education's ‘next best thing’ after producing a science rap video for NASA about astrobiology.

Jon has since produced science rap videos for a number of different organisations. He also hosts a range of science programmes dedicated to infants and adults. His credits include CBBC’s Space Hoppers, CBeebies Rhyme Rocket, Street Science for the Open University and a one-hour special for the BBC’s educational website, Bitesize. Jon has also incorporated his raps into many of his TV shows.

He has also performed his raps at The Science Museum, The Royal Society, The Royal Institution, and at many theatres, libraries and science festivals across the UK.
