Keynotes

The Winning Pattern of Successful People [Available in 45/60/90 minute forms].

Have you ever wondered why some people seem to orientate and deliver their goals with absolute clarity, discipline and purpose?

Having studied the winning patterns of athletes, successful entrepreneurs and businesspeople, Phil Jones has come up with – what he believes – is the formula for success. An equation, built of attribute components which – if deployed – will dramatically enhance your ability to reach your goals.

Phil will detail the role of motivation, distraction and saying ‘no’ to say ‘yes’ in what promises to be an inspiring and educational talk for anyone wanting to achieve more success in their life.

Selling/Marketing to Senior Executives [Available in 45/60/90 minute forms].

Demanding market conditions in all industries mean attention is very much focused on the pressing business issues of the day. In amongst all of this, B2B brands continue to want to break through into the lives of executives and create an opportunity for their salesforce to influence and convert.

But many continue to use old techniques in the new landscape, leading to frustration on both sides of the equation. Wasted budgets and wasted time = wasted effort.

So how do you break through the noise? Phil Jones believes that if you think like a CEO it will not only lead you to greater marketing success but also better career outcomes, smoothing you’re way to the top spot whilst delivering some winning outcomes.

Pulling on his ten years of experience as a CMO and five years as a CEO, Phil Jones will give us a unique insight into the life of busy executive to understand the drivers, behaviours and winning ways you can deploy to create more cut through within this hard to reach an audience.

During his talk, Phil will cover three key areas.

1. The life of a busy CEO. What are they passionate about and how you can be relevant?

2. Successfully selling to Senior Executives - why 9/10 of your approaches don't work and what you can to improve your chances of being seen.

3. From CMO to CEO - navigating the career journey to the top. What things you can do to accelerate your journey from CMO to CEO.

Correlative Leadership [Available in 45/60/90 minute forms].

In the context of rapid external change, the need to adapt your business model and then take your people with you is key. Leadership credentials are demanded from highly changing workplace cultures leading to a re-boot of the traditional models of leadership performance and the collapsing of organisational pyramids.

Since his appointment as MD in April 2013, Brother UK has transformed itself into one of the UK’s leading employers, renowned for its employee engagement and apprenticeship programmes.

Underpinning this success has been the leadership journey that Phil Jones has been on for the last fifteen years.

But what has it taken to build such a culture and leadership style? What are the attributes needed to lead a multi-generational workforce? What have been the challenges along the way?

During his talk, Phil Jones will share the components of his self-developed ‘Correlative Leadership’ framework as a template for Leadership in 2017 and beyond.

Key topics covered will include: -

• The Four Pillars of Correlative Leadership

• The importance of having you’re your personal purpose well defined and clear.

• The role of situational awareness as part of your self-care routine.

• How your digital footprint is now key in recruiting, developing and nurturing people.

• The role of compassion and care in culture.

Building A High-Performance Work Culture [Available in 45/60 minute forms].

Brother UK is a Platinum Investors in People (IIP) workplace (one of only a handful in the UK) and was recently crowned the best of the best at the IIP national awards recognising the work it has undertaken to build an adaptable workplace.

But what has it taken to build such a culture and workplace attitude? What have been the challenges along the way? How can other businesses learn and adopt in terms of best practice?

During his talk, Phil Jones will share the journey the business has been on and more importantly the why and what around the business case for adopting a philosophy of employee engagement plus the results and benefits seen.

Key topics covered will include: -

• Running the business on Purpose.

• Collapsing the organisational period to move from a culture of power to influence.

• The ‘Blood on the Carpet’ moments and lessons learned.

Phil spoke at our recent ‘The Business’ Lunch. His talk “Being the best possible version of you” was thought-provoking but delivered in a humorous and enjoyable way. Using real life examples, Phil conveyed a real insight into some of the practical challenges we face in business today. I would have no hesitation in recommending him as a speaker or, someone who is extremely professional and a pleasure to work with.
