Scottish BAFTA winner Greg McHugh is the writer and star of the Scottish television sitcom, Gary: Tank Commander, based on the lives of soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Gary has also had roles in the successful Channel 4 comedies Fresh Meat and Dates, BBC 3’s Bad Education and the recent BBC1’s Two Doors Down.

Greg has made guest appearances on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Bad Education and Alan Carr’s Chatty Man. He also regularly hosts on BBC Radio 4 and Radio Scotland Productions. He was also a finalist on So You Think You’re Funny and has an extensive background in stand-up and live performance.

In  2011, Greg hosted Red Nose Day coverage about Scotland's fundraising for Comic Relief and in 2016 he made a secret guest appearance at ‘Andy Murray Live’ - a charity tennis event that helped raised funds for UNICEF and the Glasgow-based charity, Young People’s Futures.
