London Hughes

Award-winning comedian, presenter and writer, London Hughes is a familiar face on children’s television, as the presenter of CITV’s weekend breakfast show, Scrambled! She began her television career presenting the morning show on CBBC whilst also presenting live links on BBC1 and BCC2. She also made regular appearances on Blue Peter, co-hosted the popular children’s show All Over the Place alongside Ed Petrie and voiced characters on CBBC’s Big Babies.

Away from children’s television, London hosts her own YouTube comedy series, No filter, which she also writes. The show is reflective of London’s own life experiences in friendships and dating and features the country’s hottest young comedy talent.

London debuted her solo show ‘London Hughes: Superstar’ at the 2017 Edinburgh Festival. She has also appeared on ITV2’s All About the Bants, Comedy Central’s I live With Models, Space Ark on Channel 4, For the Win on BBC3, The Stephan K Amos Show on BBC2 and the all female sketch show, Sketch My Life, for YouTube.  London has also participated in the comedy/reality hybrid show Bad Bridesmaids (ITV2) where brides-to-be allow undercover comedians to attend their hen nights and create havoc to be in with the chance of winning a luxury honeymoon.

London starred in the film It’s A Lot (Dir: Femi Oyeniran, 2013). For her scenes, London improvised with a lot of the comedy material and even choreographed some of the dance routines used in the film.

On the radio, London wrote and starred in her own sitcom pilot, 28 Dates Later for BBC Radio 4. She has also featured in Life: An Idiots Guide and Newjacks, both for BBC Radio 4.
