English actor, comedian, director and TV presenter, Richard Ayoade shot to fame at the Edinburgh fringe for co-writing and performing in Garth Marenghi’s Netherhead, a show that became a cult Channel 4 comedy. His success continued with The IT Crowd.
In 2010, Richard directed the highly praised Film4 indie hit, Submarine.

Most recently, Richard presents the Channel 4’s technology show, Gadget Man. Superseding the success of previous presenter, Sir Stephen Fry, Richard brings his well-known sarcasm to the mix of bizarre and life-enhancing gadgets, alongside an array of celebrity guests
Richard is also a regularly be seen on popular comedy shows such as Channel 4’s Big Fat Quizzes, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, A League Of Their Own and The Last Leg.
Richard’s was a panellist for the MOFILM Q&A in 2014.
