Popular gardening presenter Charlie Dimmock first appeared on the nation's screens on the BBC 1 television show Ground Force. Since then, Charlie has hosted other gardening shows for the BBC such as The Joys of Gardening and Charlie’s Garden Army. She also presented the ITV Meridian series River Walks where she visited landmark attractions across the country. Overseas, Charlie had her own gardening feature on the popular American breakfast show, The Early Show on CBS.
Charlie has also broadcast from the Chelsea Flower Show and has embarked upon several garden theatre talks around the country. She enjoys attending garden shows and is a regular face in pantomime.
As well as presenting, Charlie is also a successful author, having written several garden books including Water Garden Workbook and Container Gardening, as well as Enjoy Your Garden. She also has her own column in the Mail on Sunday where she contributes a weekly gardening article.
In 2016, Charlie demonstrated her entrepreneurial skills, launching her own range of gardening products with Poundland, one of the country’s largest value retailers. Charlie was personally involved in testing her brand for its quality and practicality, stating that she joined with Poundland to make gardening more affordable to all.
